Our drones can take more than just pretty pictures!
Are you based in or around the Lancaster area and are looking to carry out a site inspection?
If you are, consider carrying out your site inspection with a drone! Using the traditional methods would often mean that you would have to cause disruptions to any work being carried out which would cause delays to projects.
However, using a drone will avoid all of this hassle and any delays. Our team will work alongside yourself and your team to inspect the area and provide you with a report on your site or building.
There is no need for you to be on site! If we can gain access into the site and is safe to do so, and received permission off the landowner, we can carry out the inspection whilst you’re away. There is even an option to view the footage in real time if this is required!
Our work is produced in high-definition stills and videos,4k super high-resolution videos, and infrared thermal imaging. This makes inspecting and assessing footage much easier and will allow the process to run efficiently. Our drones will photograph the entire site, including areas which are particularly challenging to gain access to on foot and focus on any areas causing you problems.
Once the inspection’s been completed, you will receive your data and footage swiftly which means no waiting around for things to be finalised and then sifting through paperwork and notes of the inspection. Everything will be on the footage and in one place.
By inspecting your roofs with our drones, we can help to save you 70% of the time it would take to inspect it using a traditional method. A great feature which our drones are fitted with is the option to use infrared thermal imaging. This allows our team to show any area on the roof where heat is escaping, or thermal insulation is missing. This modern method of inspecting roofs dramatically saves time, cuts costs, and reduces the risk of injuries and fatalities.
When it comes down to assessing a roof, you will be required to work from a considerable height, install scaffolding, and in some instances use a cherry picker. With all of this comes an added risk factor, especially scaffolding and working from a height. During 2021 to 2022, falling from a height had the highest fatality rate, being the cause of 29 deaths.
By choosing to use DroneWorks for your roof inspections, you are helping to reduce the risks extensively and hopefully reduce the amount of fatalities per year due to working from a height.
Working together we can help you access near impossible areas and eliminate those risks as a team!
Across the construction sector, 39 fatal accidents occurred during 2020 to 2021. The causes of these were falling from a height, trapped, or struck by a moving object or machinery. Out of these39 fatalities, 50% of these involved falls from a height.
Whilst we understand that the 39 fatalities were not all caused by a lack of inspection, we are aware that the use of drones can help to make an impact around the site and improve the safety of your staff.
Receive and review your data accurately and in an appropriate time frame with DroneWorks. The data collected can then be used towards projects and your final decisions. There is no more waiting for an eternity for data to be collected then pieced together, instead we will collect and provide you with the final document which has all the key information right there.
Fortunately, we are beginning to see more and more construction sites request their site inspections to be carried out by our drones. As more sites begin to be aware of the positive Impact drones can have on the construction sites, the new method will become the new normal. Let’s save time, cut costs, and reduce the risks towards your team.
We are here to support and improve the construction industry in and around Lancaster. You won’t need scaffolding and cherry pickers to assess your site if you choose to use our team!
A manual traffic survey can be seen as a job not many would volunteer to do. It can be seen as gruelling and sometimes draining.
It would require a team to observe a roundabout, a junction, or a busy road and collect data based on a number of scenarios. Along with the team manning the location, a back-up team could often be required, depending on the timeframe.
As the weather becomes difficult, so does the task and this often means it can provide inaccurate data due to the challenge of remaining focussed. Whereas, completing a traffic survey with a drone allows you tore-check footage and ensure that all the data you have taken correlates!
Traffic surveys are often carried out during peak times and can record several different things for analysis. This would include traffic count, traffic type, the origin, vehicle destination direction, and how busy the road is and is there traffic queuing at various times throughout the day.
The best part about using our team is the requirement of one drone, one single operator, and the improved accuracy!
