DroneWorks are leading drone operators covering Liverpool and the North West. Our team offer clients, both commercially and privately, a range of different services. These are:
· Construction site inspections
· Traffic surveys
· Roof inspections
· Infrared thermal imaging
· Media footage
Real, useful data, quickly and safely….
NOT JUST PRETTYPICTURES!
Our team cover Liverpool and surrounding areas with our specially equipped drones and attend both commercially and private clients who request inspections. The team will work alongside your surveyors or just yourself to ensure that the entire task is completed, and the site and building is thoroughly inspected. If there is a specific area which requires a more thorough examination, let our team know and we’re happy to set this up for you.
Full coverage will be provided in high resolution which is normally not possible using traditional methods. This means it is much more efficient and reliable when it comes to inspecting and assessing the footage as opposed to distorted and pixelated imaging.
Do you sometimes struggle to view hard to reach areas which are usually too unsafe to inspect? With drones we can inspect all areas which are impossible to view on foot, meaning you will receive a true picture of your entire site or building!
As long as we can gain safe access to your site and have received permission from the landowner, you do not need to be onsite during the inspection. Our team can carry this out whilst you are away! We can even provide you with real time footage.
You will receive your data swiftly and efficiently which means that you will no longer be sat waiting around for weeks for all the data to be collected and put together. The footage will be in one place, where it needs to be, in front of you!
We can save you 70% of your time by using our drones to inspect your roof! Our drones have been fitted with thermal cameras which will help us to identify any issues within your insulation. If you are losing heat, we will be able to spot this immediately and locate exactly where this issue is.
Our cameras are also fitted with a high-definition zoom which can focus in on hard-to-reach areas.
Traditional methods demand contractors to inspect roofs and work at an excessive height. This will require scaffolding or in certain circumstances, a cherry picker can be used. Whichever method is chosen, increases risk of fatalities occurring.
between 2021 and 2022, records show that falls from a height were the highest cause of fatalities in the workplace with 39 documented.
By using DroneWorks, we will reduce the risks by carrying out your roofing inspections with our drones and avoid anybody having to work at great heights.
Our team will with you and access those inaccessible and unsafe areas. Together, we can make your jobsite safer for everyone!
39fatalities were recorded during 2020 and 2021 throughout the construction industry. The top 5 causes of these fatalities in order of most recorded were:
· Falls from a height – 50%
· Trapped by something collapsing/overturning –13%
· Struck by moving including flying/falling object– 11%
· Struck by moving vehicle – 10%
· Contact with moving vehicle – 4%
We aim to reduce the number of fatalities caused each year within the construction site by using our drones to support the sector.
By using our drones, you will receive accurate data in our agreed time frame and go on to use this towards future projects and decision making. Choosing to have your site inspected by our drones means that you will be able to view your data whenever you wish and as many times as you need.
By spending less than an hour each week mapping a job site, contractors gain access to an unprecedented amount of knowledge about nearly every aspect of their project.
You will no longer need to memorise key points during a traditional walk-round inspection and understand the notes made. With our drones, you can rewind, pause, or skip whilst making as many notes as you need.
Fortunately, we are starting to receive a higher number of requests for inspections with our drones around construction sites. With more and more constructors requesting this, we are hoping that using a drone to carry out an inspection will be the new normal.
Using our drones is a more cost-effective way to inspect your sites along with saving more time and reducing the risk of injuries and fatalities. Instead of using your budgets towards cherry pickers and scaffolding, invest your money into other resources or projects.
We are here to support construction sites in Liverpool and other surrounding areas.
A traffic survey is usually carried out during peak times and can record a number of things to help improve the area. This can often include:
· Traffic count
· Traffic type breakdown
· Origin of the vehicles
· Destination of the vehicles
· Queue lengths throughout the day
Once the data has been collected and examined, changes can be made to improve the drivers experience and journey.
The traditional method of carrying out a traffic survey would require an entire team. Each exit would require a member of the team and additional to allow switching for breaks.
As well as taking a team out of the office or off another project, this survey could be seen as a long tedious job, particularly in challenging conditions. Whilst the team carry out the survey, the data which is collected may not always be 100% accurate due to lack of concentration, poor weather conditions, and busy periods.
However, by choosing to use our drones for your traffic surveys, your team can remain on their current projects or working in the office whilst we do all the work! This new and improved method requires one single drone operator and their drone!
Once the data has been collected and sorted through, we will send this over and data can start to be collected from the footage. Play, pause, and rewind, view the footage as many times as you wish and have the option to check back to compare data.
